What has happened is AJ Madison is planting people to post complimentary reviews on Yelp (and probably other places). If you read the reviews over the past year that are positive it sounds like a sales pitch. They mention the salesperson's names EVERY time, and even specials they are running. But no details - juts how wonderful the item is and what a bargain they got. And many of the Yelp reviewers are posting for the first or second time. I... Read more

We purchased a refrigeration unit for our business that arrived damaged. I contacted AJ Madison about the issue and wanted to replace the unit. They said they no longer had it in stock, so I asked for a refund. We had since moved the bank account that was used to make the purchase. THEIVES .... THEIVES AND CROOKS AND LIARS!!!! We purchased a 3k$ stove and suggested we get the EXTRA EXTENEDED WARRANTY THAT WOULD COVER ANY AND ALL PROBLEMS UP TO AND INCLUDING REPLACEMENT!!!! AJ madison will not accept returns, even for unopened items. We purchased a duct fan kit that does not fit our kitchen. We cannot use it. It’s not opened. We will pay for return shipping! They do not respond to our emails. They stole our money and we want it back. Will never purchase from again. Recently bought an LG microwave oven. Upon arrival it didn't work. AJMadison said not their problem and take it to repair center. Madison refused to provide replacement or cover return shipping. I asked if we got it fixed locally would they provide extended warranty. Madison refused! They've lost my future business. Add comment

I ordered a SMEG refrigerator online from AJ Madison. After completing the order I realized I ordered the wrong swing on door. I called to change the product BEFORE DELIVERY and they wanted to charge me a 30% restocking fee of $750.00 even though I was still buying the refrigerator from them! The return terms say 15-30% restocking fee if you RETURN an item, not if delivery is rejected. And there is no 15% fee - it's 30%. There is no... Read more

I purchase a dishwasher from AJ Madison in July. At that time I was having a custom kitchen built. I failied to open and inspect the dishwasher within the 48 hours that AJ Madison fine print states that you must do in order to file your claim. The dishwasher looked as though it had obviouslybeen dropped. My experience started off bad right from the start when I placed my order. AJ Madison called me to say my credit card was not approved. When I called the credit card company they said there was no problem and the transaction had been approved. We purchased 2 air conditioning units from AJ Madison in June, 2014. I mine as well say as well, they were Freidrich brand Air Conditioners. I had them installed and ever since they were installed one of the units has worked fabulously and the other has never worked. It continues to trip after a period of time and shuts off. Our $4,500 gas range was missing a part. AJ Madison won't make good on this stating we waited over 30 days to notify them and that this is clearly stated on their website. We ordered over the phone not from their website, and there was no mention of this policy by the salesperson.
