Defective product on delivery , damage to home property from delivery team

We ordered a kitchen set with the notice that everything would be delivered except the refrigerator which would come two weeks later it was a month later with no information on delivery so they offered us a different refrigerator which was delivered defective they told us it was Bosch who needed to come to fix it upon back and forth aj Madison agreed to replace the defective product with another one which when delivered came with a dent in the door scratches and cracks in the drawers the shelves do not install correctly and they are telling us this is a new unit , not to mention the delivery team dented the front door to our home , beware dealing with these people seems shady to me will never go back there again

I purchased a refrigerator on the premise of the delivery date promised , that delivery date got pushed back to a point where I was told no ETA of delivery was available , settled for a different product that was delivered defective , after back and forth a replacement showed up with dented doors to the front of the refrigerator and a cracked drawer inside , also the delivery personell scratched and dented the front door to my house , I would recommend shopping any where else than this scam artist of an appliance store , waiting to hear back if they are going to do good on this major problem , the sales people you deal with act as if this type of thing is normal

I had cancel my order for a fridge and a dropped in stove and you don't want to listen

Cant talk to anyone I asked for information and the order I was purchasing never got it Since they couldnt help I cancel my order on line still never responded instead I would get advertising on items you were having a sale did I didnt asked for it so you need to credit my account since I am not longer interested in buying something I dont know what it looks like

They sold us a busted dishwasher. Refused to send us a new one. Then said it would have to be serviced. Never sent anyone out. Then said they would send a replacement. Didn't do that. Now we have to dispute the charges with the bank to get our money back. Shady company. Spend your money elsewhere, unless you want horrible customer service, and like getting ripped off

AJ Madison Fraudulent THIEVES!!!!

I ordered a dishwasher with heated dryer per their web page and free shipping. When I received and installed it I realized that it was not drying the dishes very well.

I called the manufacturer, who told me that it only has a fan to help dry, not a heated dryer as stated on AJ Madisons website. Upon investigating I realized they had also charged me $99 for shipping. I called them and waited on hold for an hour only to be told that if i read the fine print the free shipping doesn't apply to rural areas. When I asked to have the website updated with the correct info she hung up on me.

I tried to review it on their website and was taken to a page that does not exist.

Update 02/16/2021

So i emailed AJ Madison as requested per this review and was told

"this unit dry type may be heated" Not sure what that means. I checked the website it still states that it has a heated dry cycle and the review page for the item cannot be found. They did however offer to refund my shipping fee of $99. I will keep you informed if that happens.

Update 02/26/2021

I called today to inquire why i still have not received the refund and was told that they could not help me, but would email billing and me.

I never received an email, and their web page still falsely claims that this dishwasher has a heated dryer.

Update 03/05/2021

I have emailed them many times to no avail. I still have not received any money or even acknowledgement for their fraud and thievery. Buyers beware, this company is very dishonest.

I am stuck with a $1500 dishwasher that i never ordered and never wanted. If that's what you want order from AJ Madison.

Terrible communication poor customer service

I ordered over $8,000 in appliances on May 18th, 2020. I have received little to no communication outside of a bill since then. It is now August 12, 2020. I still have not received the product. After daily emails requesting some form of communication regarding the status of my order, I received a phone number to call and am currently on hold and have been for an hour.

Supposedly I would get half of the extended warranty cost if I never used it. The warranty company never replied after I sent in all the required papers. Don't bite on that sales pitch.

AJ Madison - Fraudulent, Deceptive Practices

Purchased 8/28/19, received order confirmation email 8/29/19 with ship date of 8/29/19. 8/29/19 11:23am received shipping confirmation email stating ship date of 8/29/19 with notes stating please allow 2-4 business days for product to be shipped.

Credit card charged full amount on 8/30/19. Last date products should have shipped, including Labor Day holiday, would be 9/5/19. No tracking information given. Emailed AJ Madison 9/8/19 asking for shipping update/tracking-no response received.

Called customer service 9/11/19 at 8:50am CST, rep states "shipping from Friedrich" today.

Asked what this meant, she states "it's a Friedrich order so it's shipping today." I have no idea what this means, so asked to level up to someone else for clarification. Remained on hold for 20+ minutes before AJ Madison dropped call. Immediately called back to sales department, asked rep to remain on line, rep hung up. Immediately called back, same reaction.

Immediately called back, a different rep placed me into a separate "on hold" area. I continued to remain on hold with "11 callers ahead of you." Finally, a rep returned to the line and I asked for Friedrich’s customer service phone number to verify that the order was placed. Back on hold for 10 min. Rep returned and she DID give me the number.

After calling the manufacturer at 10:30am CST today to verify AJ Madison placed my order to be drop shipped, Mr.

Joe Guerrero of Friedrich (phone 800-541-****) stated AJ Madison NEVER placed my order, no PO at all, though AJ Madison states it was placed 8/29/19. The credit card was charged in full, $4,400.00, on 8/30/19 by AJ Madison.

Called AJ Madison back to inquire why order was never placed but credit card charged. A different rep now states “there was a problem with the PO” (isn’t that convenient?) but it is fixed and Friedrich will ship my order today. I asked for clarification of the “problem” and was placed on hold.

Rep came back and stated no clarification but she called Friedrich to verify order and said yes it is there now with no problem. Now she stated it will “not ship today” but AJ Madison will get back to me with a ship date. I said this was unacceptable and asked rep to conference call Friedrich so we could all be on the line at the same time to make sure my order is placed and will ship today. Placed back on hold for 10 min.

Rep returned and said she could not place a conference call-she was not authorized. I asked to be transferred to someone who could place a conference call. Back on hold for over 30 min. Eventually the original salesperson who made the sale, Ms.

Grace Kohl, came on the line and stated “we are getting a really great deal” because of a mistake by AJ Madison from a previous order we placed. This order was “only a few dollars above cost.” After saying I needed Ms. Kohl to place a conference call to Friedrich with myself on the line for order verification, she refused, stating “we don’t make phone calls.” After conferencing in my husband to hear for himself about this current situation, a long back and forth exchange occurred without resolution on either side. We maintained that it was fraudulent of AJ Madison to charge the credit card, lie repeatedly about a shipping date, suddenly have a “problem with the PO,” and then refuse to confirm the order with the manufacturer, Friedrich, with us on the phone.

Ms. Kohl stated she would cancel the order and we would receive a refund and we could try and find the items at that price elsewhere, and also maintained that AJ Madison was not committing fraud. She stated that in order for the items to be now re-ordered and shipped, we would have to write an email stating we would not accuse AJ Madison of fraud. We refused, and she stated the order was cancelled.

We received an email about the cancelled order, but there is no credit pending on the credit card as of yet.

Meanwhile, there is additional cost on our end due to booking our HVAC installer a nonrefundable airline flight and nights at a hotel room near this project’s location, based on AJ Madison’s original email about a ship date. The project is now on hold due to AJ Madison’s neglect and deception.

AJ Madison - Horrible customer service
Hi purchased a Samsung appliance package from AJ Madison for almost $7000. The refrigerator arrived with a huge dent in the door. I called them many times over a period of 7 weeks (spending an average of 40 minutes on hold!), to finally have them open a repair ticket at Samsung. However, when the repair guy arrived, I had to PAY for him to replace the door panel, as they were unable to get AJ Madison to pay for the repair. So on top of the almost $2000 I spent on the refrigerator, it cost me $400 more for the repair. I contacted Samsung directly only to be told that is was the retailers responsibility and there was nothing they can do for me. I will never buy from AJ Madison again.

Great Seller until you have a problem... Please read this and never do business with AJ MADISON

I purchased my entire kitchen and spent a small fortune buying Top-of-the-Line Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Warming Drawer, Microwave, and ofcourse, and Coffee System that was, including the extended warranty over $3.5k..... Total purchase from AJ Madison was approximately $20k....

Everything was fine until I went to open box for my coffee machine and realized that the WRONG FINISH was sent to me..... I immediately called to request an simple exchange for the correct Finish... The same damn model is currently being sold on their site and the unit is 100% brand new and in its original shipping container... They asked for pictures which I took several and sent.

I said that I would even pay the shipping costs for the exchange since the builders took an extra 2 months to finish my house construction. AJ MADISON REFUSED MY EXCHANGE REQUEST due their 30 day RETURN POLICY... I said this is not a return but an exchange and they basically told me to go get F^&$$$$$$....... So BUYER BEWARE.......

You have been warned... Stick with your local dealer and avoid this type of stress and treatment....

Its ok... I will simple buy another coffee machine but NOT FROM AJ MADISON...
